Account

Profile, travel preferences, subscription, and email imports.

The Account page is where you manage everything about your yumo account.

Profile

Edit your first name, last name, display name, avatar, and email. These show up on shared trips and vision-board collaborator lists.

Travel preferences

yumo uses your preferences to personalize suggestions and format content:

  • Interests — pick from preset tags (food & dining, culture & history, nightlife, adventure, nature, wellness, shopping, art, beaches, architecture, photography, local experiences).
  • Budget tier — budget, mid-range, or luxury.
  • Party type — solo, couple, family, or group.
  • Home airport — used as the default origin for flight suggestions.
  • Preferred maps app — Google Maps or Apple Maps. Controls which app yumo launches when you tap a pin on the map or in a place card.
  • Distance unit — miles or kilometers.

Changes save automatically.

Subscription

The Subscription card shows your current tier and lets you manage billing:

  • Free — core planning features.
  • Pro — unlocks Scout (the AI travel assistant), Gmail imports, flight lookups, and richer Google Places enrichment.

Payment is handled through Stripe. From the card you can start a Pro checkout, or — if you're already Pro — jump into the Stripe billing portal to update your card, view invoices, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Pro access until then.

Import from email

Connect Gmail to let yumo pull in booking confirmations automatically. Pending candidates show up inline with a badge; click through to review and confirm into a trip. See the Imports page for the full flow.

This section is Pro-only.

Signing out

Sign out ends your session on this device only. Other devices stay logged in until their sessions expire.

Deleting your account

Delete account is at the bottom of the page. It permanently removes your profile, trips, vision boards, imports, and subscription. Deletion is irreversible — type the confirmation phrase to proceed.

To revoke an MCP client's access, see the MCP setup page.
