MCP overview

Drive yumo from Claude Desktop or any MCP-aware client, on the same account you use in the browser.

yumo ships an MCP server. That means any MCP-aware client — Claude Desktop, Cursor, Zed, your own scripts — can read and write your trips, vision boards, and lists, on the same account you use in the web app.

Why use it

  • Plan with an AI assistant. Tell Claude "add a 4-day Tokyo trip in May with a few foodie events on each day" and it can create the trip and populate the itinerary directly.
  • Bulk edits. Ask Claude to "move every dinner event on my Italy trip 30 minutes later."
  • Cross-trip queries. "What are all the bucket-list items I haven't scheduled yet across all my trips?"
  • Pull bookings in. "Sync my Gmail and show me every pending hotel candidate" — Scout and external clients can both run the imports pipeline.
  • Schedule reminders. "Remind me 24 hours before every flight" — one command, every flight anchored automatically.

The same authentication, permissions, and history apply — there's no parallel data model.
